Welcome! Founded in 2015, the Texas Genealogical College (TGC) is a non‑profit organization dedicated to serving the genealogical and heritage society communities of Texas and beyond. TGC provides a forum for genealogical, lineage, heritage, and heraldic societies to collaborate, share information, and promote their missions. Our goal is to serve as a conduit for organizations to publicize membership qualifications and highlight their activities. TGC also hosts an annual educational seminar and recognizes exceptional members who demonstrate outstanding service within the genealogical and hereditary communities through induction into the Texas Hall of Fame, a distinguished honor. In addition, TGC supports advanced genealogical education by offering the Lynn Forney Young Scholarship, which is open to applicants from the broader genealogical community.
